What do you get if you mix Janis Joplin, Courtney Love and a healthy amount of the crazies required to be a blues musician? Probably something like Laura. I’ve known Laura for a number of years and I’m really pleased to see her musical career taking off. She’s supporting Skunk Anansie soon, so be sure to go check her out.

I’ve begun to get a little bored of uploading photos here, I have such a backlog at the moment. Add to that the fact that feedback seems to have dried up somewhat and I’m struggling to be bothered to upload more.

Anyway, I’m dragging myself up to post something, so here’s a few portraits from the studio. These were taken on a photoshoot near Canary Wharf in an empty flat. The model, FIona did really well as she was nude covered in these awful dead roses. I’d love to redo this shoot with a bottle of vodka, a Roxy Music album and a lot more roses to really bring out a darker more intimate side to the shoot. I suppose you could call this fashion photography- I’d buy the shoes from the top photo anyway!
